Dr. Mike Taylor DDS, MSD
Dr. Mike Taylor completed his bachelor’s degree at The College of Idaho. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, where he was a member of OKU, a national honorary dental society. He then earned his master’s degree in orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in 1991.
Orthodontics played a big role in Dr. Taylor’s life from an early age. While in high school, he underwent orthodontic treatment provided by a general dentist, and the results were disastrous. Thankfully, he sought the consult of a certified orthodontist who provided a much better outcome and experience. Dr. Taylor witnessed firsthand the major impact that an orthodontic specialist can have on one’s life, and decided to pursue a career in which he could make a similar impact in the lives of others.
Dr. Taylor has been dedicated to serving his Roswell community for many years in ways beyond the scope of orthodontics. He is active within his church where he serves as a deacon and is involved with many mission trips and youth events. He also sponsors an annual fundraiser for CASA called Make Time For Kids, which has grown incredibly since it began over 19 years ago.
When not working at the practice or spending time with his wife and three wonderful children, Dr. Taylor can be found participating in various church activities, working on art/home projects, lifting weights and playing the bass. In fact, even though Dr. Taylor has become an accomplished orthodontist, he is quick to point out that his most important endeavors are built of family, church, and the community.

Dr. Lori Gossett is thrilled to return to Southeast New Mexico to serve the community she proudly calls home. Raised in Hagerman, NM, Dr. Gossett’s journey in orthodontics has come full circle. She is honored to now practice alongside Dr. Taylor, who treated her as a teenager.
Dr. Gossett’s own orthodontic experience with Dr. Taylor was truly life-changing and played a pivotal role in inspiring her to pursue a career in orthodontics. Seeing firsthand the confidence and impact that a beautiful, healthy smile can create motivated her to follow in his footsteps. Today, she is grateful for the opportunity to help create those same transformative experiences for patients while working alongside Dr. Taylor.
Meet Dr. Lori Gossett
Dr. Lori Gossett is thrilled to return to Southeast New Mexico to serve the community she proudly calls home. Raised in Hagerman, NM, Dr. Gossett’s journey in orthodontics has come full circle. She is honored to now practice alongside Dr. Taylor, who treated her as a teenager.

Dr. Gossett earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication from the University of New Mexico in 2018 where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then completed her dental education at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2@23 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society. She went on to complete her orthodontic specialty training and earn a Master of Science in Orthodontics from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR, graduating in 2025.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Gossett enjoys spending time with her wonderful fiancé, Dillon, and their German Shepherd, Cooper. In her free time, Dr. Gossett loves playing board games, creating fun nail designs, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Gossett is deeply honored to serve the families of Roswell and the greater Southeast New Mexico area. She is committed to building meaningful, lasting relationships with each patient by ensuring they feel heard, cared for, and fully informed about their orthodontic health. Dr. Gossett approaches every patient with the same compassion and attention she would offer her own family, and she looks forward to helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.
